(Not-So) Unusual Marketing Tips To Increase Your Listings.

Posted on: March 15th, 2018 by Tim Garcia

priceappreciation

*infographic above provided via article mentioned, below.

San Jose, California (home of PropertyMinder headquarters) is still considered one of (if not) the hottest housing markets in the nation.

A local realtor, Louis Fong, released this video pitching an unusual service to potential home sellers…

To paraphrase, he asks – are you a potential home seller in San Jose, California? If so, you are in an “incredibly strong position to negotiate.” Mr. Fong goes on to state, “If you’re thinking about selling and want to take advantage of the low inventory and hot housing market but aren’t ready to move – consider a SELLER RENT BACK.”

Seller Rent Back: a seller is asking the purchaser of their home to rent the home back to them for a specified price and for a specified time (weeks to months).”
~

In addition to that – I came across an article entitled “Home Prices: The Difference 5 Years Makes” which states:

“Data from the most recent HPES shows that home prices are expected to increase by 18.2% over the next 5 years. The bulls of the group predict home prices to rise by 27.4%, while the more cautious bears predict an appreciation of 8.3%.

Every day, thousands of homeowners regain positive equity in their homes. Some homeowners are now experiencing values even higher than before the Great Recession.”

Why is this important?

Well – as we’ve been reporting multiple times over the past few weeks (see all of our recent “Home Values Skyrocket. So Should Your Listings” blog posts – one in particular where a commenter perceptively articulates: “Supply and demand keep the world moving forward, smart people learn to buy low and sell high” & “Home Values Skyrocket. So Should Your Listings: Update“, etc.) – reaching out to homeowners (your past clients) in 2018 can pay off handsomely.

Remind them how much more their home is worth.
Remind them you have the answers and resources they need to make responsible decisions.
They’ll remember you when they’re ready to (eventually) sell their home.

Seller’s Corner helps you do this, automatically.

Are you incorporating any of the aforementioned into your home seller marketing efforts?
